Qualifying buyers who finance their home through ABSA may receive a rebate of up to R55,000, credited directly to their home loan account upon registration.
Terms and Conditions
1. Offer Overview
1.1 Buyers who purchase a residential unit in any Leogem Property Projects development in South Africa, and finance their purchase through an ABSA Home Loan, may qualify for a rebate of up to R55,000.
1.2 The rebate is not payable in cash and will be credited directly to the purchaser’s ABSA Home Loan account, reducing the outstanding balance.
1.3 This promotion applies exclusively to properties purchased directly from Leogem Property Projects.
2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1 Buyers must apply for and secure an ABSA Home Loan as part of the property financing.
2.2 The Home Loan application must relate to the purchase of a residential property within any approved Leogem Property Projects development in South Africa, subject to ABSA approval.
2.3 Buyers must meet all ABSA lending criteria, including affordability and credit assessments.
3. Exclusions
The following transactions do not qualify for this promotion:
3.1 Cash purchases or financing through institutions other than ABSA.
3.2 Purchases of properties not developed by Leogem Property Projects.
3.3 Purchases of vacant land or resale properties.
3.4 Transactions where the buyer does not meet ABSA’s lending requirements.
4. Disbursement of Rebate
4.1 The rebate will be credited to the purchaser’s ABSA Home Loan account after successful registration of the property and activation of the Home Loan.
4.2 The rebate amount is subject to the final approved Home Loan value and may be less than R55,000, depending on the transaction.
4.3 The rebate:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be transferred
- May only be applied toward reducing the Home Loan balance
4.4 The rebate will be processed within 30 days of validation and confirmation.
5. General Terms
5.1 This promotion is offered by Leogem Property Projects (“the Promoter”).
5.2 By participating in this promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
5.3 The promotion is subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at the Promoter’s discretion.
5.4 This promotion is governed by:
- The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
- The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
6. Eligibility Restrictions
You will not qualify for this promotion if:
6.1 You are a director, employee, agent, or consultant of Leogem Property Projects.
6.2 You are an immediate family member of any of the above.
6.3 You are a supplier of goods or services to Leogem Property Projects.
7. Forfeiture of Rebate
The rebate may be forfeited if:
7.1 The Home Loan application is declined or invalid.
7.2 Any suspensive conditions in the Agreement of Sale are not fulfilled within the required timeframes.
7.3 The purchaser breaches these Terms and Conditions.
7.4 Any information provided is found to be false or misleading.
8. Liability
8.1 The Promoter is not responsible for:
- Failed or incomplete applications
- Delays caused by third parties (including financial institutions)
- Technical or system-related failures
8.2 The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of participation in this promotion.
9. Disputes
9.1 In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms limits your right to approach:
- The National Consumer Commission, or
- Any relevant regulatory authority
10. Data & Privacy
10.1 Personal information will be processed to:
- Validate eligibility
- Administer the promotion
- Facilitate the rebate
10.2 By participating, you consent to such processing in accordance with POPIA.
10.3 If you do not consent, you should not participate in this promotion.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
11.2 Updated Terms will be published on official Leogem platforms where applicable.
